Yes, you can use a one-time password (OTP) for when your staff logs in.
Note: This is not your MFA OTP please refer to this article for more information.
So what does it look like step by step?
When your staff member logs in, they will see the standard login page. To the right of the forgot password link, you will see a link “Send me a one-time code to login”. They will click this.
Note: You must use your subdomain for this feature to appear; it will not be available with app.workbright.com.
After clicking the link, they will be taken to the next page. Here, they will need to put in the email they use to login to request a backup code. Once they put in that email, they will click “Send me a code”.
After clicking “Send me a code”, they will be taken to the page to enter that code. To find that code, they will need to check their email.
When they find their email, the message will look like this. They will take their unique six-digit code and populate it in the required space. Then they will click “Verify”.
Note: The code will only be valid for 15 minutes.
If there were no errors after they click “Verify”, they will be in their account.
Note: The code shown here is an example; the code that will be used to verify will only be found via the login email.
If your staff member was required to set a new password before they enter into their workbright account, they will land on the create a New Password flow. Once this is completed, they will be able to enter their account.
Similarly, if you have MFA set up on your account, they will be required to follow the MFA login path after they have logged in via the OTP.
