Form - Date Forward Assignments

How can we assign a form for a date in the future?

Updated yesterday

Assigning a form for a future date can easily be done with WorkBright.

First, you will need to make sure that this feature is set up in your account.

You can validate this by going to your forms page and opening a new form.

Navigate to the Onboarding screen via your navigation bar at the top of your screen.

Once on that screen, select Forms from the left side navigation bar.

Once on the Forms page, select “New Form” from the top of the screen.

In that form, right below the section to select groups, you will see a section labeled “Assignment”.

If you do not have this section on your forms, you do not have Form Date Forward Assignments set up. Please reach out to our team to have it set up.

Now that you have confirmed that you have Date Forward Assignments activated on your account, let's look into how you can use it.

Note: Once this feature is activated on your account, you may use it on both new and existing forms.

The Assignment function has two options. Assign to All Staff Now and Assign Notification Start Date.

Assign to All Staff Now: This will assign the form to all staff in ANY of the selected group(s). If no group(s) are selected, this form will be sent to all staff.

Assign Notification Start Date: This option will make it so the form will not be requested from any staff in the selected group(s) that have a Notification Start Date before the date selected. This means your staff will not see it until that assignment date.

It is important to note that the Date Forward Assignment is a static date, meaning that before that date, no one will be assigned the form, but after that set date, anyone assigned that form will see it.

Note: If you have an employee who has already completed the form that you have created for Date Forward Assignment, they will not receive a new notification assignment. If you would like them to do this form again, you will need to request a new submission from the employee.
