Multi-Factor Authentication

Why is it asking me for a One-Time-Code?

If it’s asking for a One-Time-Code, that means you have set up Two-Factor Authentication for your account. Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is a critical security feature that adds an extra layer of protection to your WorkBright account. This ensures that even if your password is compromised, your account remains secure.

Upon logging in, you will receive either a text message with a code or a one-time code generated by the authenticator app on your phone. We recommend using Google Authenticator, so the app may look like this on your device.

Note: MFA codes are NOT delivered via email, so ensure to check your authenticator app.

When you open the app, you will see your one-time code under WorkBright (WorkBright). This is the code you will be entering on the Verify MFA page. You DO NOT need to put the ‘SPACE’, just the 6 digits. This code refreshes every 30 seconds, so if you do not enter it in time, you will need to enter the new 6-digit code when it refreshes.

Authenticator apps like Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator generate these 6-digit codes directly on your device, ensuring a secure and reliable method for accessing your account.

If you have lost your device or are unable to authenticate, you are able to use the backup codes you were prompted to save when you set up your MFA initially. Backup codes act as a fallback option if you lose access to your primary delivery method. Ensure you have these codes saved securely for such situations.

Click "Click here to authenticate with a backup code".

This will take you to this screen. Find your saved backup codes and enter one of them.

This will log you into your account.

It is advised that if you need to take this route, you ask your system admin to reset your MFA so you can have it on your authenticator and receive updated backup codes.

Note: Please get in touch with your company administrator if you are NOT receiving the one-time code, or need more information about MFA, or help accessing

your account.
