š What Weāve Been Up To
Say hello to WorkBright+.
Some teams would rather not own I-9 verification and E-Verify case management at all. WorkBright+ hands those pieces to us. Our specialists handle the verification and case follow-up, and you stay in the loop without getting bogged down in the details. A handful of customers are already up and running on it.
Curious what it would look like for your team? Weāre holding a Lunch and Learn on September 2nd for a walk-through. Scroll down to register!

TPS and work permits are in flux. Check before you reverify.
Teams employing staff with TPS should take extra care with verification this month. While El Salvador's status is set through September 9, 2026, the landscape for auto-extended work permits remains volatile following recent litigation and an early August court ruling. Additionally, DHS recently issued termination notices for both South Sudan and Burma.
Our best guidance: look beyond the expiration date on the physical card. Verify current extension timelines via USCIS I-9 Central prior to taking action, and view reverification schedules as individual determinations for the time being. If a particular case feels unclear, our team is available to help you navigate it.
What does document verification do, in plain terms?
We get asked this frequently, so here is the plain truth: document verification and E-Verify are separate tools. Our system doesn't cross-reference government databases. Instead, it inspects the document photo for clarity, authenticity, and inconsistencies between sides, and checks for expiration.
Think of a flag as helpful data rather than a final ruling. Just like with physical paperwork, you retain final authority on whether a document passes muster. Keep in mind that our automated check focuses on a specific set of common documents.
Also, while an expired driver's license or state ID will trigger a failure, a Permanent Resident Card or EAD might still be valid via an extension even if the printed date has passed. If the automated path hits a snag, your team can always move forward manually.
š Enablement & Learning
Lunch and Learn: WorkBright+, start to finish.
Join us September 2nd at 12:00 pm MT for a full walk-through of WorkBright+, our end-to-end I-9 service. We will cover what our specialists take on, what stays with your team, how reverifications and E-Verify cases get handled, and where the compliance risk sits for the records we manage. Come with questions. We would much rather answer them live than have you guess at them. Register Here

Two new guides.
Both of these came straight out of questions our support team kept answering:
Freshened up.
We gave these a once-over too: Everything you can do with Bulk Actions, adding questions to an upload form, unlocking an account, and email notifications for staff members.
š£ Coming Soon
See who changed what, and what it used to say
"Who changed this, and what did it say before?" Today, that question usually turns into a support ticket and a fair amount of guessing. Very soon, it turns into a couple of clicks.
The new Admin Audit Log will show admin activity across your whole account: when something happened, who did it, what they did, and which employee record it touched. Click into any entry and you'll see what the field said before the change, which is usually the part you were actually after. Filter by admin, by employee, or by date range.
Two things worth knowing now: the log starts recording the day it's switched on for your account, so it won't reach backward in time. And it lives in the WorkBright web app, so teams working inside WorkBright through another system won't see it.
More to come over the next couple of months.
