The WorkBright Pulse: September

🚀 What We’ve Been Up To

Admin Audit Log - September Arrival

More visibility into admin activity with your WorkBright account is coming soon. Later this month, we’re introducing a new Admin Audit Log.

We’ll be sharing a first look during our September 23rd Lunch & Learn - hope to see you there!

New Applied-for-SSN update

Employees who previously indicated they had applied for a Social Security number can now update their SSN themselves once they receive it.

The update automatically triggers the appropriate Form I-9 PDF re-render and E-Verify submission process, reducing the need for admins to step in and manage the update manually.

This enhancement was released on August 25.

Date Forward and Conditional Logic Now Available by Default

Two features designed to give you more flexibility and control over your forms are now enabled by default for all accounts!

Date Forward Assignments allow you to add a form to an existing group while assigning it only to staff moving forward, helping eliminate the need to create and maintain additional groups.

Conditional Logic lets you create smarter, more streamlined forms by showing staff certain fields based on their responses to previous questions.

If you haven’t explored these features yet, now is a great time to put them to work. You can find guides for both of these features through the following links:

🎓 Enablement & Learning

Lunch & Learn: WorkBright+ and What’s New

Join WorkBright CEO Chapelle Ryon and Gina Manu, Head of Customer Experience, on September 23rd for a look at what’s new, what’s next, and how we’re continuing to make employment compliance easier to manage.

We’ll introduce WorkBright+, our new service designed to provide hands-on support for the operational work behind I-9 compliance, including what WorkBright can manage on your behalf and where your team stays involved.

You'll also get a first look at the new Admin Audit Log, giving administrators greater visibility into activity within WorkBright. We’ll also provide other product updates and chat about what’s ahead.

And because we have Chapelle and Gina in the room, we’re setting aside time for a candid Q&A. Bring your questions!

🔎 Notes on Compliance Leadership or Other Applicable News

E-Verify Scan-and-Upload Update

WorkBright recently identified and resolved an issue affecting document image transmission in E-Verify scan-and-upload cases. The issue has been patched, and no customer action is required. All impacted employees who encountered the error were given the compliant E-Verify workflow to correct the issue; as such, there is no compliance risk to employers. As always, WorkBright is here to support you in the event of an audit. If you have questions or would like additional information about whether your employees were impacted, please contact WorkBright Support.
